The Birthplace offers FREE monthly breastfeeding classes for expectant parents who have chosen or are considering breastfeeding.
The classes, taught by Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare’s
Certified Lactation Consultant, will cover topics including:
- Benefits of Breastfeeding
- Production of Breastmilk
- Nutrition During Lactation
- Returning to Work
- Everything You Need to Know About Breast Pumps.
Common breastfeeding concerns will be addressed and resource information will be available. Please bring a doll or stuffed animal for positioning practice. Fathers are encouraged to attend!
