School of Radiography
The School of Radiography at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare prepares graduates who are competent in the art and science of radiography. The graduates of the program receive a diploma in radiologic technology and are prepared to sit for the ARRT Certification Examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies.
Our accredited program offers the state and national required two-year training program in the theory and practice of Medical Radiography leading to a diploma in Medical Radiography. Graduates may participate in the state licensing and national examination with subsequent licensing, registration, and certification as a Medical Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist).
The program guides students in achieving educational goals. Our comprehensive curriculum provides a broad base of knowledge and diverse clinical experience. The curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop skills in conceptual understanding, analytical judgement, critical thinking, and the ability to problem solve in the performance of radiologic procedures.
